In 1989, Al Dyck achieved the remarkable "Triple Crown," securing 125cc, 250cc, and 500cc National Championship titles in the same year—an accomplishment unmatched in Canadian history. Al began his motocross journey in 1977 and swiftly progressed from novice to the Expert class by 1986. Along the way, he claimed BC and Manitoba Championships and triumphed in the Montreal Supercross.

The year 1988 saw Al seizing the 125 National Championship, earning the most points across all classes, and clinching the prestigious CMA White Memorial Trophy. However, '89 stood out as the pinnacle when he etched his name in history with the unprecedented Triple Crown victory.

After a brief retirement, Al made a triumphant return in 1997, securing his 5th National Pro Championship in the 125 class. His versatility extended beyond traditional motocross, excelling in off-road races and triumphing in the Masters class. Not just a rider, Al showcased mechanical prowess, collaborating with Joe Skidd to enhance bike suspension—a partnership that persists with Too Trick Racing, SSS
and now with Sky Racing Suspension.

Post-racing, Al explored promoting Arenacross and ventured into renovation before refocusing on suspension work. In 2018, he successfully led a race team, finishing 8th in both the 450 and 250 classes. The same year, Al participated in a legends event in Manitoba, securing a commendable 6th place.

With years of team ownership under his belt, Al harbors aspirations of adding more championships to his illustrious career.
